At 14 I worked for my dad as a receptionist, I enjoyed looking after people and the boss always bought me lunch! At 16, I moved into retail whilst completing my studies and loved helping customers feel good about their purchases.
At 22, I worked in a call centre arranging loans but found that soul destroying. I then became a paralegal in a law firm, which mainly entailed making coffees, running errands and photocopying for the litigation partner. He was a badass and I adored him! He showed me that you didn’t need to conform to the stereotype of a lawyer to be a good one, so I became one in 2002.
I set up my own employment law firm in 2006. In 2013, I strayed into strategic HR. Today? I get to decide what job I’m going to do each day. Some days, I’ll be the lawyer, others I’ll be a strategist, mentor, author, trainer. I refuse to be pigeonholed for the rest of my working life and you don’t have to accept that either.
What job are you doing today?

I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
